Dear Friends, Family, Co-laborers, and Supporters of the Mission of Jacob’s Well:
Your prayers for us have been answered many times over already. We are safely here at Jacob’s Well this evening after a beautiful, uneventful day of unhindered travel.
We glided through Houston security and in and out of customs in the Cap Haitian airport, making the 11 mile trek through rain and potholes in under 2 hours to Jacob’s Well Ministry Center.
We are tired, but well and heading to bed to get rested. We will then prepare for camp to begin at 1:00 p.m. tomorrow. Please pray for the weather. It has been raining here since last night. We do have a backup plan to run camp in the church and the local community center if necessary. We trust that the Lord’s plan is good.
We are so thankful for our hosts, Betty and Gersan. We were welcomed at the airport with two covered vehicles and then fed a feast fit for a king this evening. We even had a special cake for dessert that said “Welcome Back Frontier Camp”. They are happy to have the team that you sent and we are happy to be here. Praise the Lord for all that He has done on our behalf and on the behalf of our Haitian friends.
We will have much good news to share with you tomorrow night, Lord willing.
God bless, and good night (bon nwit)!
